Every Wednesday I shall be hosting a new Lounge Club evening in Soho called 'LOLA' from 7pm till Midnight, entrance fee…nothing!
The ambiance is that of a lounge bar .i.e. no Kylie / Madonna / Britney et al, but rather, Sinatra / Serge Gainborough / smooth jazz / film soundtracks etc. This is a place to meet, greet, invite friends down for conversation or flirtation, what it isn't is a loud dance club. There are plenty of tables and bar chairs.
I’ll be inviting colourful folk down too, as I’m wanting to create a place that isn’t exclusively T Girl, but rather, one where the girls can mix and mingle with the rest of mainstream society, as many girls have expressed the desire for such a place.
The bar will be run by world renowned cocktail guru Dick Bradsell, who’s not averse to donning a frock himself occasionally. Bar prices are quite reasonable and the drinks of a good quality.
There are dressing facilities (mirrors/lights) provided for those who would rather change upon arrival.
